Absolute credit to the maintenance of the facility, everything is clean & well maintained & in place. Love all the wood & privacy between units. Garden & pool is a true asset with a stunning view of the ocean.
Quality products in the units is a good indication of the type of owners and it doesn't go unnoted. Well done! Friendly caring service, Thanks!
My only negative comment and this is truly a personal preference is that the tub chairs look nice & sits fine for a waiting room. After a long trip a nice comfy wingback chair could make all the difference. They not big & the correct style will be a winner.
Overall a lovely stay. Please also add game drives @ Rain Forest Lodge, a true winner!

It was such a pleasure staying with Chris. Not too far from the beach but not so close you are bothered by other people. Place was clean and they offered us a better unit where they’ve had a cancellation. Really nice couple of days.

The location was so beautiful, being able to see the sea every morning with a cup of coffee and late in the afternoon with a glass of wine was really a treat. Well done to the hosts, we enjoyed our stay alot. We felt very safe and at home. Everything was in order. Having a cleaner daily, being able to braai in our own courtyard was a absolute joy. The beach being so close to hear and see the waves was very special. The flat being very central to all the nice restaurants and shopping areas, was a highlight.

This place is about location, location, location. The scenery just amazing. Overlooking the ocean with just pure goodness. At night its so still and quiet and no noise at all. So close to everything I needed. The beach the shops. I just wish I swam in the beautiful warmed pool as it was really inviting. Christopher was so patient with me as I was late for my check in but he waited for me until I got there. I loved the privacy of each villa and everything was just perfect. It was clean and everything easy. He even bought milk so I could have coffee the next morning Thank you. Also there is proper working wifi. Bonus. Can’t wait to come back here

Christopher and Clare were wonderful hosts. My sister arrived much earlier than I did and didn’t have a car since she flew to Durban... she was allowed into the flat before check in time. Clare also went out of her way to make my sister feel at home and took her with when she went to the shops. I enjoyed my stay at Billfish.The view from the sailfish room is amazing and we had our own private space.Clare and Chris were amazing hosts. Ensured that we were comfortable and checked In on us if we were okay but they do not invade your space.We experienced bad weather during our stay however my partner and I had a nice trip relaxing at the guesthouse.I miss the view and will definitely go back as we were close to the beach and shopping centers.

Christopher's place is worth staying at. A great host, a family man that just wants everyone to be comfortable and happy. Great response time when you need him and refunded my deposit the next day. HIs house has fantastic views and he recommended us to nice local restaurants. If it wasn't for him, we would have went to Umhlanga things we liked instead of exploring local activities and it because we did not know balitto that well. He was able to direct us to nice places and we ended up not traveling out of Balitto. His place is definitely a must try and i would love to do it again for atleast 5 nights next time.

We stayed in the Blue Marlin apartment. The views from the balcony were amazing. We even managed to spot a few whales so bring your binoculars. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home. Ons het 'n baie aangename tyd gehad by Billfish Apartments. Dit was stil en ons uitsig was een van die hoogtepunte. 'n Heerlike see-vakansie in 'n netjiese, gerieflike plekkie.
Ons het in die "Swordfish apartment" gebly en alhoewel ons aanvanklik gedink het dis bietjie knap het dit ons min gepla as 'n jong getroude paartjie! Dis vir seker waarde vir geld met die uitstekende diens, bo normale veiligheidsinstellings en 'n groot bederf met die plekkie wat oor die week elke dag opgeknap word, veral as mens op vakansie is! Die baie gemakilke koninggrootte-bed het dit vreeslik moeilik gemaak om op te kom in die oggend en die woonstel is toegerus met al die nodigste, selfs vir mense soos ons wat sommer elke aand ietsie gebraai het op ons stoepie. Aangesien Ballito maar uit bulte en hellings bestaan, was dit nie regtig ideaal om strand toe te stap nie, maar dit sou sekerlik naby genoeg wees as dit minder klimwerk was. All en all het ek nie iets negatiefs te se nie, 'n heerlike, rustige vakansietjie!

Home away from home.
Billfish Apartments (Sailfish Room) was by far one of the best holidays that we have had. Chris and Clare went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible - they were exceptional hosts. Our apartment was spacious and had such a beautiful view - the apartment had the most comfortable bed and was equipped with much more than expected - to make you feel right at home. Shopping Centres and the beach within 2 km away. We recommend Billfish Apartments Ballito to anyone and we will definitely be returning ourselves. The security system in place puts you right at ease and our breakage deposit was paid back into our account within a few hours of departure. We arrived there as strangers and left as friends.

Clare and Chris are some of the nicest and most accommodating people we could have come across. They were so helpful and even gave us such a sweet wedding card since we stayed by them on our honeymoon. Ongelooflike ervaring by seker die beste gasheer en gasvrou.
Billfish Apartments was sover die beste verblyf en ervaring wat ons nog teëgekom het. Die ligging was perfek, omtrent so 1km van die see af. Die verblyf was perfek. Dit is net en skoon en het beskik oor allerhande dinge wat nodig was en meer as wat verwag kan word van 'n selfsorgeenheid. Daar is twee wonderlike sjokolade labradors met die vriendelikste gesindheid wat baie lief is vir by jou kuier en saam speel in die swembad, maar is daar ook hekke by alle eenhede wat hulle kan uithou as mens nie so diere vriendelik is nie. Alhoewel die eenhede reg rondom die gasheer en gasvrou se huis is, is dit ongelooflik privaat uitgelê. Die sekuriteit is ongelooflik met 'n sisteem wat baie goed werk vir gaste. Die beste deel van hierdie ervaring by Billfish Apartments was die vriendelike gasheer en gasvrou, Chris en Clare. Hulle maak seker jou vakansie by hulle bly onvergete en maak seker mens voel so tuis as moontlik, altyd gereed om te help met enigiets en verwys hulle jou ook graag na die beste ervaringe in die area van Ballito en nabygeleë areas. Ons sal hierdie vakansie by Billfish Apartments voorstel aan enige iemand as iets wat ervaar moet word. Wat verder lekker is van die eenhede, is dat die eenhede modern maar needs natuurlik voorkom en voel dit of 'n mens tog in die tropiese bos bly naby die strand. Hulle is ook baie vinnig om jou sekeriteitsdeposito terug te betaal na jy hulle verlaat het. Ons het letterlik 2ure na ons gery het die epos ontvang ter bevestiging van ons sekeriteitsdeposito wat terugbetaal was. Weereens, 'n wonderlike plek om te gaan rus en veral ontslae te raak van die stres van die besige lewe of om net 'n lekker goeie ervaring te hê weg van die huis af in Ballito.

“Wow! Home Away from Home!”
Wow what a wonderful place to be , waking up and watch the beautiful sea view and breeze. The place is truly amazing, a home away from home exactly what we needed to take a break from the busy city life. Watching the whales playing in the sea at sunset was one of our best experiences. The location is truly amazing safe, clean and kind owners. We are definitely coming back again!

We had such a lovely time at Billfish. The unit we stayed in had everything we needed and more. It was very comfortable with a spectacular view of the ocean. We were welcomed by the warm and friendly hosts Chris and Claire who made our stay amazing and checked in on us to make sure all was good. Chris and Clare are absolute people's people, which added to an amazing stay at one of the three condos/apartments less than 10 minutes drive from the beach. Situated very close to restaurants, Lifestyle shopping centre and Virgin Active gym. Cooling down in the large swimming is also an option if you don't feel like to going to the beach. Not a single thing was missed by Chris and clare whilst setting up this little self catering, anything you think you might need, it's there, and more!

Not to mention that everyone was exceptionally friendly, the view is incredible and the dogs adorable!

I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend some time in Ballito or Salt rock, specially the dog lovers as they are pet friendly which is very rare to find.

This was definitely one of my most memorable holidays! Chris and Clare are the most amazing hosts! We stayed in the Sailfish room and found everything plus some that would be needed for a self catering holiday. The peace and quiet was incredible, the pool area Fantastic. The walk to the beach was not bad at all or a very short drive. We were not disturbed by the party goers over new years but close enough to join if wanted. I cannot thank our hosts enough for the incredible view, warm attention and amazing facilities.

Our weekend getaway was unforgettable. We flew to King Sharka International. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival at Billfish apartments by Chris and Clare our hosts. They were very friendly and always offered assistance. We were surprised with a welcome letter and muffins in our apartment. Everything was available to us for a delicious cup of coffee with fresh milk. Chris offered to take us to Spar shopping center with his car for shopping of all we need for our stay.
